Dates to Dive

At the checkout you'll be able to specify the dates you'll be available to dive. We’ll then contact you to finalise these dates. Please feel free to get in touch to make any further amendments before you arrive.

Transportation

If your residing in the Trou aux Biches, Grand Baie, Pereybere, Grand Gaube or Calodyne areas we offer a complimentary pick-up service. If you are outside of these areas we can arrange for transportation to pick you up. Alternatively, if you'd like to make your own way to the centre please see our contact page for an address. You can indicate your preferred option at checkout.

Deposits

To secure your place on any course or dive trip, we like to request a 50% deposit be made on your booking in anticipation of your arrival. We would like the remainder of the balance to be settled prior to starting your adventure with us. For more details about deposits please see our Terms and Conditions.

Description

Effortlessly gliding with the currents, watching the big pelagic fish and feeling the rush of flying underwater, is what drift diving is all about. During your PADI Drift Diver Specialty Course, we’ll train over two dives. We’ll look at the planning, organisation, problems and hazards of drift diving. The special equipment needed such as floats, lines and reels. How to effectively navigation and communicate, as well as buoyancy control. How to select sites for drift diving, and how to assess aquatic currents, their causes and effects. Staying together with your buddy or dive group is essential, so we’ll look at techniques for that also.
